Welcome

Pregnancy & Birth Services

It’s an honor to work with families across the entire spectrum of conception, pregnancy, birth and parenting. As a holistic health practitioner and certified prenatal massage therapist, I have the privilege of working with people in a very personal way as they create families and move through life’s transitions and transformations.photo-8 copy

As a pregnancy and birth professional, my intention is to provide all families support from a culturally sensitive, open-minded and heart-centered space. I embrace, serve, celebrate and welcome families of all kinds: single parent, co-parents, LGBTQ, surrogacy, adoption, people of all cultures, spiritual beliefs, sexual orientations and gender identities. Visit Progressive Wellness Project for more information regarding PWP resources, retreats, classes and community events!

I believe in educated, informed choices. I trust that each individual knows what is best for their own body. I support every decision you make at any stage of conception, pregnancy and birth. I believe everyone should have the support they want and need and the ability to have the birth they truly desire regardless of how and where they choose to give birth. I also feel strongly that money should never be what’s standing in the way from having support or creating your ideal birth experience. I’m dedicated to providing affordable prices on all my services and I’m willing to work on a sliding scale and offer payment plans based on your individual needs. I also welcome trades and provide volunteer work whenever possible.

My journey as a pregnancy and birth professional started many years ago while I was in nursing school. A lot came up for me personally during my clinical experience with Labor and Delivery. I had mixed feelings after graduation; having incredible admiration for nurses, knowing that there is an important time and a place for western medicine, but also wanting to continue exploring, knowing that I hadn’t quite found my niche. Exploration meant doing something out my comfort zone. I moved to Denver and joined AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) which is a National Service Organization. I served as a corps member and then as a team leader on service projects and disaster relief teams all over the Country. Needless to say, I had some pretty life changing, “soul searching” experiences during that time. After my two years of service, I returned home to San Diego, where I was born and raised, to be near my family.forwebsite

I reconnected with my passion for health and wellness while in school to become a holistic health practitioner. I’ve been fortunate enough to have my own practice specializing in perinatal holistic massage for the last three years. I’m constantly learning from every single one of my clients and I appreciate the experience and knowledge I have gained during these last few years. I feel honored and grateful to have a career that I love with an opportunity to connect with amazing people everyday.

I’m a pet mom of two, wife, daughter, little sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. I love the mountains. The cute little mountain town of Idyllwild, Ca is my sanctuary. I’m incredibly passionate about all things related to food and nutrition. I recently became a certified health coach, specializing in pregnancy and postpartum nutrition.  IMG_1405

I would love to support you during this time! Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like more information!
